2-1 Overview

MediaEdge is an IP-based video distribution/playing system that consists of a

server that stores and distributes MPEG video and terminals, which receive/play

video streams. MediaEdge-STB3 is a set-top box that converts the distributed

MPEG stream into video signal so as to display on TV monitors.
